Safe and Non-flammable EV Batteries

NAMI has developed a safe EV battery with non-flammable and in-situ
formed quasi-solid electrolyte (QSE) compatible with existing processes.
The QSE precursor withstands in-line 45°C wetting for hours before
solidification, providing 10 times extended cycle life under 45°C and
4.5 V, and a 20°C thermal stability improvement over liquid counterpart.

Cathode Active Material

Redwood aims to be the first and only U.S. producer of cathode active
material (CAM), the most valuable component in EV batteries. Redwood’s
recycled critical minerals including lithium, nickel, and cobalt are all
contained inside the cathode, making it the most sustainable cathode
material available today.
