Emmy award-winning sportscaster Ahmad Rashad is the host of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony. A host and commentator for NBC for 20 years, Rashad covered four Olympics and won an Emmy for his work on the 1988 Olympics in Seoul. For 16 seasons, he served as executive producer, managing editor and host of the Emmy-nominated NBA Inside Stuff, which earned the 2024 Curt Cowdy Transformative Media Award from the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.

Rashad currently serves as an NBA ambassador and consultant to the New York Knicks. He also produced Ahmad Inside, a five-part NBA special for ESPN which won a Telly Award. An All- American at Oregon, Rashad is enshrined in the College Football Hall of Fame. He is also a recipient of the Pioneer Award, the highest award given by the university. Rashad played 10 NFL seasons, including seven in Minnesota, where he earned four Pro Bowl selections, All-Pro honors and Pro Bowl MVP. In 2017, he was enshrined in the Vikings’ “Ring of Honor.”
